I attended a retreat that Tom offered in central Arkansas and he mentioned this online retreat during his presentation. It was a really great follow-up to the retreat on the Exercises that I attended. I did this online retreat by myself, so I didn't do the group sharing parts, but it was still very good and I enjoyed it.

I registered for the retreat and spiritual direction. I did the retreat by myself and enjoyed the video teachings. I have a spiritual director already, but I thought going through the retreat with someone new might be a nice experience and it was. Tom was an excellent director and was easy to talk to. It was neat being able to ask him questions about what I was learning from the videos and share with him what I was experiencing in prayer. Thank you, Tom!

I heard about Tom through a webinar he offered on spiritual direction. The webinar was great and I require all of my directees to watch it. I then found out he offers these online retreats and I started with Connecting with Christ. It gave me a new perspective on prayer. I have been practicing Lectio Divina for a number of years and the style of connecting with Christ that Tom teaches in this retreat is different and refreshing. It helped me to see just how much Jesus and I have in common.

While I did "That Retreat" in a group, I went through "Connecting with Christ" by myself and really enjoyed it. I plan on going back through it again some day. I had never really thought about the many ways that Christ and I share common experiences. I highly recommend this retreat!

While I gave a three-star rating to Amazing Prayer for being too much for beginners, this online retreat was perfect for me! I found it to be informative and challenging and it gave me some new things to think about regarding my style of prayer. Thank you, Tom, for this retreat! I have been looking for a spiritual formation program that wasn't just a Bible study filled with facts, but something that would invite me into my heart and help me to encounter Christ! I experienced that in this online retreat! I'm so grateful for the ministry Tom is doing and his willingness to make retreats like this available! I went to a retreat that Tom led at my parish and I was really impressed with his sincerity and knowledge. He mentioned this online retreat and I put it off for a few months. I'm not real tech savvy, so I had to contact him a couple of times for guidance, but he was very helpful and kind. I really enjoyed the retreat (although I enjoyed the retreat he did at the parish more). I recommend this retreat to anyone who is interested in not just learning more, but praying more too.

My faith formation group found this online retreat when we were looking for a new program or book to use. This was THE BEST one that our group has done and we've been together for eight years! I called DeepWardly not expecting to get Tom, but I did. I asked him if he recommended Amazing Prayer for me. He talked with me long enough to figure out that Connecting with Christ was going to be more suited to what I was wanting to experience. I really appreciated the time he took with me. I also enjoyed the retreat! I recommend it to anyone who isn't just starting out in prayer, but is wanting to learn more about Ignatian prayer and become more confident in personal prayer.

Apparently Tom not only writes these retreats, but he even guided me through the process of figuring out how to play the videos each week on my television for my faith formation group. Haha. Our group enjoyed the retreat and would have even liked for the lessons to be longer. Six weeks seemed like a nice length. I would recommend this to any church group that wants to grow closer to one another and Christ.

I enjoyed Amazing Prayer so much that I started Connecting with Christ afterwards. I didn't do it with a group and wish I would have because I think it would have been even better. I did enjoy the meditations, though. By the last two weeks, I felt like I was falling a bit behind and struggling some. I think I just need to still grow more in regularity in prayer.

Tom did a great job presenting the material in high quality videos (unlike many of the other programs my group has done). Six weeks was a nice length of time. I enjoyed many of the meditations, but some of them I didn't care for. Out of the eight people in my group, everyone enjoyed Connecting with Christ and it seemed to re-energize our group.

I did this online retreat after I finished "Amazing Prayer". It took me about three weeks to really begin settling into it and then around week five I struggled a bit. I would have liked Tom to have given me the meditations rather than me having to work at putting them together. I realize why he did this and that it's part of the retreat, but it took me a while to make the connection. I think I might want to go through it again. Maybe someone a bit more advanced in prayer would have an easier time. I enjoyed it, though.

This retreat had a lot of information and meditations. It was probably a bit above my head as a new Catholic. However, my group was amazing and helped keep me going.
